Wild Brunch Event

Our heartfelt thanks go out to you for helping to make our 11th annual celebration, The Wild Brunch, better than ever, netting more than $120,000 towards giving our wildlife a second chance.
On Sunday, August 16, at Gull’s Way Estate, Malibu, more than 490 guests gathered to enjoy an afternoon of fine cuisine (V-Taste of Malibu restaurants and chefs catered to our discerning vegetarian palettes and sweet tooths), festive libations (thanks to nine wineries and Patron Spirits), amazing buys in the Silent and Live Auctions and specialty boutiques, musical entertainment, sleight-of-hand magic, intuitive readings and energy healings, Children’s Area face-painting, Calmont School crafts table and Wildlife Care of Ventura’s educational owls and snake – oh my!!
A very special thanks goes to our 32 Wild Brunch Sponsors (Fawns, Sea Lions, Pelican and Owls); 145 Auction Donors, 16 Honorary Committee members, the mighty Wild Brunch Event Committee co-chaired by Victoria Harris and Nikki Lafferty; AND last, but not least, the 57 Event Volunteers who comprised the backbone of our tireless efforts, not the least of whom was Mel Berman, CAA’s event manager extraordinaire.
And now to say, Thanks for the Memories (and to Mike and Julia Hayward who just kept clicking), we invite you to Mike Hayward Special Event Photography to find photos of you and your friends sharing a fun-filled day and to pass along to others who may have missed it. You will be able to view a slide show, view individual images, or download images for sharing.
